Tony Moly's AC Lab BB Cream

Actually, it wasn't on my plan to buy a BB Cream but I was persuaded by the Sales Assistant to get one. I love the swatch on my skin. She said that they only have last stock at that day, I was still undecided and thought I was just compulsive. I got trauma since Tony Moly and Etude take a long period of time before they have their stocks back. So the following day, I hurriedly rushed to the nearest Tony Moly Botique. Fortunately, they have stocks! :)

I was given a Membership Card as well. Though I was expecting a mask or a sample product. Haha. I am a regular customer of Tony Moly but it was my first time to get their card. I was told that only boutique customers can have the privilege for membership and too bad SM Bacoor is only a stall. Anyway, this membership card promises to give the owner 15% discount every month (this is not confirmed yet. :) ) You have to register online for the activation of the card.
I like how minimalist their card is. :)

Where did I buy: Tony Moly Boutique (Market Market)
For: Face

I really like their packaging; so classy and perfect for men's kit. :)

As usual, texts are written in Korean. I can't read. :)

According to my research (http://en.koreadepart.com/), this BB cream does:

1. Provide skin thin natural moisture giving feather light fresh skin.

2. Velvet smoothing method cover curves giving soft baby skin feature.

3. Multi-lightening barrier effectively separate light giving clear skin tone.

4. No mineral oil, no SLES, petrolatum-free, Benzophenone free, non-tar dye, non-Alkaline Benzoate, non-PABA, non-triethanolamine, urea-free imidazolidinyl.

5. Has SPF 30**

The cream is composed of:

zinc oxide, feeding the fire the roots extract, phyto oligo, sage, centella asiatica urban extract, sprouted buds complex, bilberry

        Here's a swatch on skin.
                                                                                                        When applied

Pogi Points:

1. This BB Cream defines what MATTE means. This is my first time to have a BB Cream that is so matte. It's perfect for people who have combination and oily skin.  Always remember to put moisturizer first for the cream to last long. :)

2. NO WHITE CAST! :)

Perfect for taking pictures with flash. :)

Here's a swatch on my skin.

Here's a picture with flash. Too happy there's no white cast! :)

3. Men can carry this in their bag and bring it anywhere. It looks like a skin care product.

4. It gives a smooth and radiant finish.

5. It evens my skin tone. Actually, I can associate this with CC Cream except it does not intended for skin repair or what.

Downside:

1. It's too matte that it dries fast so you need to blend it from the moment you apply it.

2. There is one available shade but I guess it will fit everyone.

Other than that, I'm happy with it. :)

I will give Tony Moly's AC Lab BB Cream an AWESOME POGI POINTS of 5/5

Mr. Pogi says:

If you are aiming for a "no make up look", this will best fit you. I so love how matte it gives and how it brightens my face.

It's now one of my favorites! :)

Picture of me with students! :) Summer is coming. Yey! :)

Catrice's BB Cream and Concealer Review

I'm in love with BB Cream! I never get tired of looking and buying every time I see one.

On my search for a good CC Cream, I found this Catrice brand. I honestly don't have any idea about their company and products but the sales attendant was so good in introducing the brand. She said that this brand is popular in European countries. Oh! One point! :) What made me decide to buy is. . . . its price. Their products are affordable! I hope this not just an introductory price. :)

Product to be reviewed: Catrice's Bb Cream
Price: 400 Pesos for 30 ml
Where to buy: SM Department Store
Where did I buy: SM Department Store (SM Bacoor)
For: Face

Catrice claims that this a 6-in-1 cream provides these benefits:

1. Balancing- hydrates the skin and reduces shine.
2. Correcting- minimizes the visibility of pores.
3. Protecting- contains UV filters
4. Illuminating- provides a radiant glow and a silky skin.
5. Covering- conceals skin imperfections
6. Moisturizing- with almond oil that treats dry and sensitive skin.

There is a variety of shades to choose from and I bought Light Beige.

Pogi Points:

1. It's matte, perfect for people who have oily skin. It controls oil for about 4-6 hours.

2.  It's perfect for everyday use. No need to retouch. I apply this every 5 A.M. and go home at about 11 P.M. I just need to use blotting sheets in between to remove excess oil. I still look great. :)

3. What I love most is it doesn't have a white cast when taking pictures (with flash). So guys will not be afraid of camera flash. :P

4. The tube could last up to 6 months. I bought this last November of 2014 and use regularly from Mondays to Sundays. Proud to say, it's not fully consumed yet (March 2015).

5. Doesn't give me breakout.

6. It's affordable. With less than 500 Pesos, it can go a long way.

7. It has SPF 30. No need to put sunblock.

CLAIM CHECK:

1. Balancing
Check. It doesn't give shine on face, but you can feel that your skin is hydrated.

2. Correcting
Check. I always achieve poreless skin look! :)

3. Protecting- contains UV filters
I can't answer this. Haha.

4. Illuminating
Check. :)

5. Covering
Check. :) I like how it effectively covered my big pimple before.

6. Moisturizing
Check? Haha.

Downside:

I can't think of any downside for this. I just love it.

Here's the swatch when BB Cream is blended on hand. See? It perfectly suits my skin color.

With camera flash

I will give Catrice's BB Cream an AWESOME POGI POINTS of 5/5

Since I fell in love with Catrice's BB Cream, I tried their concealer as well.

Where did I buy: SM Department Store (SM MOA)

What's the Promise?
Concealer cream with full coverage.

 Without putting anything on hand.

                                                                                   With Catrice Camouflage Concealer

Pogi Points:

1. I hate my dark circles! But I am thankful this concealer does instant effect. It brightens my eyes. It shows I completed an eight hour sleep even I only had four. Haha.

2. It serves its purpose of concealing pores and blemishes.

3. It's affordable and yet goes a long way.

Downside:

1. It gives white cast. So I am always hesitant when people take pictures of me with flash. I look terrible!

(With Flash)
Look at the right side! It gave a white cast. Imagine this on your face. Haha.

I will give Catrice's Camouflage Cream a  POGI POINTS of 3.5/5
✓.

Mr. Pogi says:

Hands down with their BB Cream! I will definitely repurchase it. :) On the other hand, though I like the coverage the concealer provides me, I am still disappointed with the white cast it gives in picture. It maybe perfect for everyday use but make sure not to take pictures with flash. ;)

 Tada! :)

Tony Moly's Magic Lip Tint Delight Review

I've been hibernating for a while. Haha.

I haven't imagined that I would have an entry in this blog again! I admit that I became lazy since I thought no one is reading my blog. But I was wrong. I am thankful with a lot of your queries and invitations. :) I received a lot of questions on my Facebook account even on mail. Thank you! Thank you! I will update this blog from time to time. :)

I would also like to promote my classmate in Graduate School, Sofie and her blog for being one of my motivations in continuing this. :)

Enough for drama. :)

Today I'll be reviewing Tony Moly's Magic Lip Tint Delight.

Product to be reviewed:Tony Moly's Magic Lip Tint Delight
Price: 200-300 Pesos
Where to buy: Tony Moly Boutique
Where did I buy: Tony Moly (SM Bacoor)
For: Dry Lips/ Lip Color

So What's the magic with this tint?

The answer is simple. When the tint touches your lips, the color changes! There are actually 4 shades available (strawberry, green apple, red berry and pink berry), but Tony Moly kiosk in Bacoor got Strawberry shade so I have no choice. :P

From transparent to pink! :) Magic! :)

For ingredients, I can't decipher the words since it's written in Korean. :) But from my search it contains argan oil and rosehip oil that moisturize lips.

Pogi Points:

1. I so love the smell! Strawberry! :)

2. It instantly turned my chapped lips into a kissable one! Haha. Yes. I wrote the word INSTANT. What I like about this is that it gives a matte finish.

3. It's compact and you can put it anywhere. :)

3. It's cheap. For 300 bucks, it could last for about a year.

Downside:

1. If you are achieving the "no makeup look", this will not work on you. Though it's matte, it still gives a pinkish/reddish color on lips. I asked the sales attendant few days after buying this and she said they have the transparent one but it's out of stock, and a little bit expensive.

2. It's not hygienic. You can use lip brush instead of your finger.

3. Unlike the regular tube where you can apply easily to your lips, this takes time. For men, if you are retouching in the middle of the day, you need to go to the bathroom or else someone might catch you applying it. Haha. Make sure you wash your finger after applying. It  does leave color. :)

TIP: Don't try spreading it on your lips just like when you are applying tube. The more you rub, the more it gets pink/red. Dabbing would do. :)

Yes. Chapped lips! :/
It makes my lips look nourished, but it's visible that you  put a lip tint.

Ratings:

I will give Tony Moly's Magic Lip Tint Delight a PERFECT POGI POINTS 5/5

Mr. Pogi says:

Except for the downside, this is the best lip balm that I ever had! :) I tried a lot of lip products but I keep coming back to this. :) I will definitely not repurchase this, but instead I'll buy the transparent one. :)

I am truly amazed with this. It's a Magic! :)
