SNEAKTIFY: How to Win 30,000 Php?

SM South Luzon’s banner event, Shop and Make Art launches this year's #SNEAKTIFY- an art contest wherein every day sneakers will serve as the canvas.

Shop and Make Art is the brainchild of SM Supermalls South Luzon assistant vice president Ritchie Gonzalez and has received a significant following from art enthusiasts. In 2016 alone, there was a whopping 10,251 participants across 13 malls, exceeding everyone’s expectations.

In 2017, a kids’ category was added to the program which increased participation to 11,675, exceeding the 10% target increase. SHOP & MAKE ART YEAR 2 even won the highest Marcom Award – the platinum award.

“Shop and Make Art makes an artist out of everybody and creates a sense of community. It provides a challenge and thrill for our customers to embrace and express their creativity and personality. The uniqueness of Shop and Make Art allows customers to choose their own masterpiece from different themes – shopping, gaming and leisure, food, and environment,” Gonzalez said.

I was one of the first bloggers to try this DIY art event. We were given white canvas shoes and art materials and it's up to us how are we going to design our sneakers. Definitely testing our creativity!

It was challenging and fun at the same time. I had to consult google images for ideas. I wanted to create a galaxy themed one, but I don't have rubbing alcohol with me that time which is needed. I looked for an alternative design instead. :)

We only had an hour to finish the design of our shoes. :)

LOL Cosmetics Favorites! SO AFFORDABLE!

LOL Cosmetics is an affordable and high quality cosmetics brand from Australia with over 200 stalls in the Philippines.

I have tried few of their products and these are my favorites! :)

1. Foundation Stick (Natural Beige #01)
Price: 199 Pesos

I don't use this as foundation for the whole face, instead this is a good alternative for concealer. The light to medium coverage can hide imperfections and good for everyday use. It's light weight that you're like not wearing concealer at all. Recommendable to a humid weather and upcoming Summer! :)

BEST FOR: dry to normal skin type since it has dewy effect on skin. :)

PRODUCT FAILS: Products that DIDN'T Work for Me

Hi everyone! :) It took quite a lot of courage to publish this entry that you will be reading.

Let's admit, not at all times we encounter beauty products that are holy grail. Most of it, we face products that either didn't work or worsen our skin condition. Like any other people, I also encounter products that I regret buying. I always wanted to be honest with you, my readers. That's why for today's blog, I'll be sharing the first batch of products that didn't work for me.

DISCLAIMER: I have tested these products for weeks to see actual results.

1. MAXIPEEL EXFOLIANT SOLUTION #2

I have read a lot of good reviews about this skin care product. Last December of 2017, I tried and put it on a test.

I just discovered that I have sensitive skin when this product left my face with bumps and red patches after few days of using it. Since it is an exfoliant solution, I also had skin peeling on some parts of my face. These parts felt like I had sunburn. I also had breakouts. Some blogs are saying that this is just normal since the skin is in the purging stage. However, I had to stop 2 weeks after for it just worsen my skin condition. Sad to say, this is one of the most painful products I had used.
