PRODUCT FAILS: Products that DIDN'T Work for Me

Hi everyone! :) It took quite a lot of courage to publish this entry that you will be reading.

Let's admit, not at all times we encounter beauty products that are holy grail. Most of it, we face products that either didn't work or worsen our skin condition. Like any other people, I also encounter products that I regret buying. I always wanted to be honest with you, my readers. That's why for today's blog, I'll be sharing the first batch of products that didn't work for me. 

DISCLAIMER: I have tested these products for weeks to see actual results.

1. MAXIPEEL EXFOLIANT SOLUTION #2

I have read a lot of good reviews about this skin care product. Last December of 2017, I tried and put it on a test.

I just discovered that I have sensitive skin when this product left my face with bumps and red patches after few days of using it. Since it is an exfoliant solution, I also had skin peeling on some parts of my face. These parts felt like I had sunburn. I also had breakouts. Some blogs are saying that this is just normal since the skin is in the purging stage. However, I had to stop 2 weeks after for it just worsen my skin condition. Sad to say, this is one of the most painful products I had used.

I should've bought and tried #1 which claims to have mild exfoliation.

2. ASPASIA MOIST UP FACE MIST

Who would say no to a collagen and mist? 

It promises to instantly replenishes water and natural minerals essential for the skin - Conditioning blood circulation and tighten pores.

Results?

FEELS STICKY ON FACE.

EMPHASIZES PORES.

BREAKOUTS.

3. DAZZLING WHITE

Aside from skin care products, I am also adventurous and fond of trying products for teeth. Since I belong to yellow club (born with yellow teeth), I always wanted to have whiter ones.

I thought this product would be different from others, for I believed it delivered changes during the first few days. I was wrong. These changes were just psychological. I tried comparing pictures before trying until the last day of using it, no visible changes. Tsk. Tsk.

4. SKIN POTIONS MILK TINT WITH SPF 30

You know how loyal I am to Skinptions. I love their products. In fact, their Tomato Serum is a Holy Grail. I am their fan. But if there is a product I think they fail or needs to improve on, it is their Milk Tint cream.

This is their version of BB cream. What I don't like about this product are:

1. Burning sensation during application. I thought this was just because of acne that I had. But I can still feel pain after a month of using it.

2. It gives white cast on photos (with flash).

TIP: NEVER USE FOUNDATION/BB CREAM WITH SPF AT NIGHT. Sunblock is usually the reason for white cast. So if you don't want to ruin your life, avoid using products with SPF or better don't have your pictures taken with flash. HAHA. 

5. DAISO NATURAL PACK

Shout out to those people who find extraction of whiteheads and blackheads satisfying, like me! HAHA. :)

This product was raved in 2015 by bloggers and vloggers.

To give better review, I tried using it again while typing this entry.

The first downside of this product is its smell. I find it weird that it smells like an expired glue. Second and most important, this product can't harvest much whiteheads and blackheads than I expected! Wew.
