Marithe Francois Girbaud's Sale

I went back to my posts written 2 years ago, and all I can say is that. . . .TERRIBLE! I can't believe I did compose and publish those blog entries. Please forgive me for the grammar and construction of sentences. I improved, don't judge. Haha. :)

I never thought I would be this happy! I was able to get a discount of 70% from Marithe Francois Girbaud! It is one of the favorite brands of our family. My sister is also fortunate to have their lifetime membership card, which they stopped producing in 2010.

I had their bags and wallets, but I am not a fan since their leather strips after a year of using it. So every time we'll buy from them, I make sure I don't buy products with leather. On the other hand, what I like most about Girbaud is that they have 3 to 5 varieties of color to choose from, for every item. :)

Last night, I had the chance to experience their month-long sale. The sale ranges from 10% to 70%. We went inside the boutique at around 7 PM, and ended up at 9 PM. After 2 hours of looking around, I bought a messenger bag, a pair of shoes and a clutch bag. Day well spent! :)

I like how LV-ish  it looks like. :)

Shoes! :)

With 50%-70% off from its original price, I believe it's a REAL STEAL! :) I want to commend Girbaud for making this. Till next time! :P

Skin Perfect Facial and Tea Tree Purity Soap

I am a public transport commuter in the Philippines. I ride from tricycle to bus to jeepney to MRT/LRT to cab--Name it! Because of that, my poor pore less looking skin (HAHA) is prone to dust and dirt. I am lucky enough not to have pimples though, but there are times that my face can't escape the fierceness of these pimples.

Last weekend, I went to Skin Perfect to try their facial treatment. It's been months since my last facial. I felt that my skin is starting to have blackheads and pimples. So before they conquer my entire face, I have to stop them.

I apologize for not capturing anything from my Facial experience since I didn't intend to document that. :P

I availed their Facial treatment with Whitening/Anti-acne Mask. Overall, I had a nice experience with Skin Perfect. I love the ambiance of their place. Their staffs are accommodating. I had a good conversation with Ate, the pricker. HAHA.  Despite of pain and countless tears, I will definitely be coming back. No pain. No gain. :)  Since I don't have much pimples, I'll just have their Regular Facial Treatment next time. :)

Tip:

1. As I have said on previous blog entries, don't ever attempt to try facial if you haven't experienced yet. You will have to do it regularly once, started. Please. I'm begging you. HAHA. :)

2. Never have a facial when you have flu. :) I commend Ate for managing the pricking session in nose while I'm having cold. :)

Product to be reviewed: Skin Perfect Purity Tea Tree Soap
Price: 140 Pesos/ Around $3-4
Where to buy: Skin Perfect branches nationwide
Where did I buy: Bacoor branch

I am a fan of Tea Tree Oil. :) I have posted a blog entry of its miracle a year ago. You may check my Zen Zest's Tea Tree Oil Review here. :) I did not hesitate to buy the soap version because until now, tea tree oil is my buddy every time I will have zits or pimples.

Mr. Pogi Points:

1. It controls oil.

2. Perfect tandem for Tea Tree Oil. :)

3. Cheap compare to other Tea tree brands.

4. I love the smell. :) It has herbal/minty scent. :)

Downside:

1. What I don't like about this is THERE ARE NO INGREDIENTS written! I don't have idea of what chemicals did they put in the bar. All I am sure, there is tea tree ingredient in it.

Mr. Pogi says:

I will give Skin Perfect's Facial Treatment and Tea Tree Soap a PERFECT POGI POINTS OF 5/5 ✓. :)

I might disregard trying Skin Perfect before, but I am thankful enough to have courage to experience their service and product. They may look the usual facial salon in Metro, but quality and affordability are their strengths for keeping their customers. :)

Banahaw Heals Spa Bacoor Review

As a busy bee with a lot of obligations and commitments in life, I always try to have a pamper day or "me time" once in a while. I usually go on shopping, have a gluttonous eating experience, go to a salon, go to derma, go to a place I've never been to, or MASSAGE! I tried different massage parlors around Metro but I keep coming back to my first love. . . .BANAHAW HEALS SPA. :)

Banahaw Heals Spa offers cheap but quality services (I can testify to that. :) ) Also, if you are a member, the rate is cheaper by 10%-50%. :)

My first ever massage experience was in Banahaw Heals Spa Bacoor Branch back in year 2013 and Oh-men, that's the best massage ever! :) Since I am longing for that experience, I went to different Banahaw branches and massage parlors. Still, no one beats my first experience. :)

Yesterday, I tried going back to Bacoor Branch. They moved to a smaller space but in the same building. As I entered the room, I asked if that's Banahaw Heals since there's no signage outside. I had to repeat it several times before a staff answered. She then asked for what service I will avail. I requested my favorite 5 in 1 with ventosa, and she hysterically said, "Sir 400 pesos po yun?" She looked at me like I can't afford to pay for that. I confidently replied "Yes." The tension went on when she offered me with a gay therapist. I have nothing against gay people, but they are conniving to let me be handled by him. I refused. "Sir ayaw niyo po ba talaga itry sa gay? Masarap po yun.," the staff added. I smiled and kindly responded, "Ayoko po." What brought me to anger was when they smirked while looking at the gay therapist after I denied.

Sorry for the blurred images. I was anxious at that time.

I then went to the massage room. I was surprised when the lady therapist asked me to undress and only wear underwear. WTF! I got nervous at that time. I knew something wrong was happening. Haha. I requested for a short and she gave me a 2XL short! "Sir wala po kaming maliit na short." WTF for the 2nd time. :) The disappointment continued when I laid on bed. The smell of the bed sheet was AWFUL! I bet they've been using that for weeks, or even months. There's no privacy as well since only curtains are dividing the massage beds. Yes. I was able to hear all of the conversations of the clients and massage therapists. :)

Above all, I still want to commend my massage therapist for giving me a good massage service. :) It was indeed my favorite 5 in 1 massage, no skipping of massage flow unlike others. :) Though my back is now in pain, I still enjoyed, specially the face and head massage! :)

I am not sure if there are extra services in that branch. I hope there's none. Tsk. Tsk.

Because of what happened, I may not avail their services again.

Best massage experience, where art thou? :)
