I've been reading good reviews about Pigeon Pressed Powder comparing it to Mac blotting powder which costs 1,200 Pesos. So I give it a shot! :)

I bought loose powder because I need a finishing powder. It is made from Japan and I read that this Pigeon is meant for babies, so you need not to worry for breakouts. Sounds great right?

There are 2 kinds of Pigeon pressed powder. One is made from Japan and the other one is from Indonesia. How to know?? Indonesia pressed powder has a mirror and Japan hasn't. Which one is better?? I've read that Japan Pigeon is better because of its quality.

The container is so cute. It's not like a cosmetic but more on for babies. I cannot understand what is written because it is in Nihongo.

Pogi Points:

1. It did control my oil for 4-5 hours.

2. It is very cheap. For the price of 270 Pesos and net weight of 150g, this could go a long way.

3. It has a tight cover before the cap. You don't have to worry for spilling.

4. It gives a translucent finish. Like you don't put anything on face.

5. It didn't give me breakouts while using this.

6. It is good for retouching.

7. No smell.

8. When applied, my skin becomes soft and flawless.

9. I've read that it's good for sweating underarms too. :)


Downside:

1. The container is big. You have to buy for a smaller container where you can bring it with you.

2. It doesn't have much coverage and it highlights your blemishes. So if you have acne, you cannot wear this alone.

3. I hope there are shades to choose from.

I would highly recommend this for men who have oily and combination skin. It is like you are wearing nothing but it controls your oil.

For girls, this would be a good finishing powder. But if you want powder that has a good coverage, this is not for you.

It is indeed a dupe for Mac blotting powder and for some reviews, the only difference of two is the price. :)

I would repurchase this again. :)

I love perfumes. From local to high-end, I love buying and collecting. :) Yes, I spray a lot. I can consume a bottle in just 3-4 weeks. :) I just like the feeling of being fresh all the time. :)

I started loving perfumes when my father broughthome some from abroad. Perks of being a son of an overseas father. :) He is fond of buying perfumes and sending it to us. I don't know the price range of these when I was still young. But now. . . .FUDGE** If I could just turn back time, I would not waste those high-end perfumes. HAHA. :)

If my memory serves me right, this is my second bottle of Eternity. I really love the smell. Not that manly but gives me the oomph. It doesn't give a strong smell even you spray a lot. It attracts people making me a head-turner baby. :)

If you are planning to buy online, just make sure that they sell legit or authentic perfumes. Check the reviews or comments of the seller before trusting. Remember that there are a lot of BOGUS sellers out there.

Blackheads started coming out after my first curiosity facial treatment. For those who have virgin and yet flawless face, don't ever try facial. And if you have started undergoing facial, you should do cleaning every month or every other month.

This is what I'm struggling now--to find alternatives so I wouldn't have to go to facial every month. I've read that facial treatment will make my skin more sensitive and I can get diseases if tools used are not properly cleaned nor sterilized.

I love facial scrub. It is a treat for my face. But remember, don't use scrub everyday. Use it twice or thrice a week. I tried few and now loving St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish Control. There are variants to choose from depending on what your skin needs but all of these are with apricot.

Downside:

1. Scrub beads are big (like guava seed) so for those people who have sensitive skin, just gently massage this on your face. Though I like how it feels when the beads touch my face 'coz I think it removes my blackheads.

If you can see, it is just a pea size but full of beads.

2. If you have allergies in apricot, you can't use this. It will just give you breakouts.

3. Not for people who have dry skin. It will make your face more dry.

I hate it every time I wake up in the middle of the night because of MOSQUITO BITESSSS!!

Follow these steps!! :)


1. Before putting anything on your face, begin with contact lenses.

2. Put moisturizer specially to those who have dry skin.

3. Fix your hair. There are different types of Korean hairstyle depending on the shape of your face. I have a layered hairstyle.

4. To feel more being a Korean, put BB Cream. But if you want a full coverage, use foundation.

5. Conceal your blemishes, darkspots and pimples. Koreans have flawless skin.

6. Set it with powder if you have to.

7. Refine your eyebrows if needed.

8.  Korean K-Pop stars put eyeliner. But this is optional. For men out there, good luck in putting eyeliner. It's hard specially if you have shaky hands like me. Practice makes perfect. :)

9. If you need to contour, you may do so.

YES!! I'm a fan of BB Cream. I tried bunch of this in the market. Aside from hopes to have a Korean skin, one reason I started buying this is that this is the only cosmetic that is ACCEPTABLE by the society for men. AGREE?? :) Imagine a man buying foundation, lipgloss, concealer and eyeliner. . . .what would you think of him?? Gay right?? HAHA I remembered about 3 years ago, when there is no BB Cream line for men. But today?? Almost all brands have it and makeup companies are now producing makeup line for men. Just for the record, my first BB Cream was Maybelline BB Stick. HAHA. Unfortunately I had breakouts with it.

We are required to put makeup during our Radio and TV Performance classes so even if no one likes it, we need look good on TV. That's where my quest of finding the perfect makeup for me begins. Apply cream to all areas of the face. Pat to finish.

BB Cream when blended on hand:

It blends well on my skin. You can't even notice where I put the BB Cream. My skin feels more moisturized and glowing.

The side with BB looks glowing and refined.

After setting it with powder:

Pogi Points:

1. It moisturizes my skin well, giving it glow. I didn't put moisturizer before using this, and still leaves my skin not just enough but well moisturized.

2. Looks good on pictures. It looks like you are wearing nothing.

3. It has on and off at the back. So it will not spill in your bag.

4. Good for starters in BB Cream or makeup. You will not look like a clown even you put much on your face. It is easy to blend.

5. Best for men who like light coverage or no make up look.

6. A good makeup base.

7. It has SPF, anti-wrinkle and whitening ingredients.

Downside:

1. It gives a dewy finish. I always need to use blotting sheets to remove oil.

2. Not good for men who have oily skin. You need to put setting powder to make it matte.

3. Has a sheer coverage. Not for men who like full coverage or have blemishes.

4. Smells like glue and leaves a creamy feeling on skin.

5. For its price, I think I can buy a cheaper at the same time has better quality than this BB Cream.

If you have a dry to normal skin and want a simple coverage on your face, Etude Love Everything BB Cream is perfect for you. As much as I want the coverage, I have a combination skin which makes it more oily. Actually, it is a good makeup base. If you can see my picture with setting powder, it looks natural.

Again, we all have different skin types. What works on me might not work on you, vice versa. SMILE!! :)
