Glam Works Nose Pore Strips Review

Are you bothered by blackheads or whiteheads which toner or facial wash can't remove?

My answer is a BIG YES! I have dilemma with blackheads, particularly on my nose. The easiest but totally the most painful way to totally remove these -----is through Facial treatment. Since I am an advocate of "No to pricking" campaign during facial (HAHA), I have to find alternatives. For years, I have been using this cheap yet effective nose pore strips.

There are few choices for the nose strips depending on your need. My favorite strips are Classic and Charcoal.

Classic instantly removes pore-clogging dirt, oil and blackheads. It helps reduce the appearance of pores with regular use.

On the other hand, Charcoal instantly removes pore-clogging dirt, oil and blackheads. 

Charcoal also absorbs into the pores on your skin and draws out the dirt and oils that are blocking the pores. It also helps reduce the appearance of pores with regular use. What I like about this Charcoal strips is that you can clearly see your absorbed blackheads since the strips are color black.

Direction for use: 

1. Wet nose area thoroughly with clean water, nose strip will not adhere if the skin is dry.

2. With dry hands open the nose strip sachet and peel the nose strip off the plastic liner.

3. Apply nose strip with the shiny side facing your skin, smoothing out any bubble.

4. Allow to dry approximately 10-15 minutes.

5. When the strip has dried, slowly peel the strip off starting at the edges then pulling towards the center.

6. Remove any residue left on your nose with water.

1. Affordable! For 100 bucks, you can use these for 3 months (one strip per week). What a steal, right? :)

2. It's available locally. You can buy this at leading drugstores nationwide. I bought mine at Watsons.

3. It does make my nose feel smoother. I don't know, but I love seeing blackheads stuck on strip. Haha.

Downside:

1. There are times when the strip absorbs few blackheads.You should master the art of adhering or else, it may either be too dry or too wet.

2. 3-5 days after using the strip, blackheads seem to double in number. You must use this regularly.

Still, nothing beats Facial Treatment since it can perfectly remove blackheads, without missing any. But of course, prepare for the consequences-- TEARS! Tears from eyes during pricking, and Tears from wallet for paying the monthly treatment. HAHA.
